Overview
James is a Family Pupil under the supervision of Graham Bailey and Joanne Barnett. James is accepting instructions from 23rd March 2025. Prior to commencing pupillage James appeared as a County Court Advocate, representing clients in a variety of civil litigation proceedings. This work included representing both Claimants and Defendants in housing and disrepair claims, consumer credit claims, and Small Claims Track trials.
James previously volunteered for several Pro-Bono projects in the Manchester area including BPP Family legal advice clinic. James completed his law degree at Keele University where he volunteered as a legal companion for two years with the CLOCK initiative. In this role he assisted litigants in person as they progressed through family proceedings.
