Success for Nigel Grundy at Police Misconduct hearing

Nigel Grundy represented the Appropriate Authority for West Mercia Police in a case which involved allegations that a police constable and his supervising sergeant conspired together to evade prosecution for a speeding ticket which occurred whilst on patrol in a marked police vehicle. It was alleged they conspired to produce a false narrative that they were in fact pursuing a vehicle at the time the offence occured. The allegations were found proven by the Panel and the officers were dismissed from the force.
