Laura Thomas Nominated for Barrister of the Year at the MCR Resolution Awards

Nine Chambers is pleased to report that Laura Thomas has been nominated for Barrister of the Year at the MCR Resolution Awards.

Laura accepts instructions in all areas of children law, acting for children, parents, family members and local authorities. Her work includes cases involving non-accidental injury, sexual abuse, factitious illness, domestic abuse, neglect, mental health issues, deprivation of liberty, alienating behaviours, and internal and international relocation. She also accepts instructions in ancillary relief matters.

Laura has detailed knowledge of the law and is known for her thorough preparation and careful attention to detail. In complex cases, she is able to identify the key evidence and issues from large volumes of documentation and has been described as a particularly impressive junior when working with leading counsel.
