Paul Gilroy KC was interviewed on BBC Radio 5 Live’s Wake Up to Money programme about the Premier League’s case against Manchester City.

Paul discussed the appeal process, the range of sanctions available under the Premier League rules, and the wider fallout from the case, including compensation claims against the club, the liability of individuals and insurance implications.

On what may happen next, Paul said: “It’s likely, in my opinion, that the club will take the matter further. So they won’t simply rely on the Premier League process. I think we’re going to see the High Court involved.”

On the wider fallout, he added: “The tributaries that feed off the mainstream here are beyond comprehension.”
