Overview
Charles Lapinskas joined Nine Chambers as a family pupil in September 2026 after graduating with a 1st Class Law with Politics degree from the University of Chester and undertaking the Bar Vocational Studies with Advanced Civil Advocacy at City St George’s, University of London. During Charles education he has engaged with a range of pro-bono work centred around family law, participated in a mooting competition and secured an Academic Excellence scholarship.
Born and brought up in Manchester, Charles embarked on his legal career as a mature student, spending much of his time before university travelling and working in different industries to develop his experience. In his younger years he engaged with the local council to promote a youth voice into what changes were being made in his community. Now he is focused on elevating his career at the family bar. Outside of the court Charles likes to socialise with friends, enjoys swimming and considers himself an avid hiker.
