Andrew Clark is recognised by Chambers & Partners UK Bar 2026 as a Band 2 Junior in Banking & Finance. Andrew has a long-established practice in business and property litigation, with particular expertise in financial services and consumer credit disputes. He has acted in numerous significant cases concerning financial product mis-selling, unfair relationships, extortionate credit bargains, and breaches of fiduciary duty. Before transferring to the Bar in 1994, Andrew practised as a solicitor, and since his call he has developed substantial experience in financial services litigation, appearing before the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court. His notable cases include Plevin v Paragon Personal Finance Ltd [2017] UKSC 23 and Harrison v Black Horse Ltd [2011] EWCA 1128, among other leading authorities in the field. In addition to his financial services work, Andrew advises and appears in contentious chancery and commercial matters, including succession, real property, and commercial landlord and tenant disputes.
