We are delighted to share that Robert Lassey has been appointed as a Fee-Paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber.
Robert will continue his busy practice at Nine Chambers, while undertaking this appointment on a part-time basis.
Recognised as a leading barrister in Employment and Sports law, Robert is regularly instructed in complex, multi-party cases involving discrimination, unfair dismissal and whistleblowing. His clients include high-net-worth individuals, multinational companies, local authorities and NHS Trusts.
Reflecting on his appointment, Robert said:
“I am very pleased to have been appointed to this important judicial role. The JAC selection process is extremely rigorous, so I am very grateful to have made it through. I look forward to the unique opportunities and challenges this new role will bring.”
We warmly congratulate Robert on this significant achievement and are proud to support him as he combines this role with his thriving practice at Nine Chambers.
