Chambers would like to congratulate Richard Price on his Legal 500 national ranking for mediators. Richard said, "I am delighted...
Our Mediation Group was established in 2011 to provide parties with an effective alternative dispute resolution solution suited to their needs. Mediation is now a core element of the dispute resolution landscape. Its flexibility allows parties the opportunity to resolve their disputes on their own terms and to avoid the risks of going to court (and the associated costs of the litigation).
The Group, led by Richard Price, is made up of barristers from our core practice areas including:
- Construction
- Contract
- Employment and Workplace Disputes
- Inheritance Act and probate
- Insolvency
- Landlord and Tenant
- Partnerships
- Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence
- Professional negligence
- Property
- Shareholders
- Trusts
The Mediation Group is supported by Chambers’ renowned clerking team. Those clerks understand the specific needs of the parties in mediations, especially where other members of Chambers are instructed as advocates in a mediation conducted by a member of the Mediation Group.
Mediations can be hosted in Chambers (room-hire and refreshments are included in the mediation fee) or at other venues of the parties’ choice. In addition, our mediators are able to offer on-line mediations using Zoom. A ‘Users Guide to Mediation’ can be found here, for parties who are unfamiliar with the mediation process.
