Assunta Del Priore Acts for the Successful Claimant in his Claim of Race Discrimination and Victimisation Against the Chief Constable of the Greater Manchester Police

A Manchester Employment Tribunal has found that Detective Constable Paul Bailey was discriminated against by the GMP because of his race, and that he was victimised because of his complaints of race discrimination.  The Tribunal has found that Detective Bailey was subjected to a number of acts of victimisation.  It also found that the Respondent’s failure to deal with his discrimination complaint as a Professional Standards matter was an act of direct race discrimination in itself.
