Overview
Called in 1991, Judith has over 35 years’ experience as a specialist criminal barrister. She has prosecuted and defended across the full spectrum of criminal cases and has acted as a Consultant for several national solicitor’s firms . Judith is known for her ability to support vulnerable defendants and witnesses and she has extensive experience of cases involving children and young people and defendants with mental health issues. Judith has particular expertise in cases involving sexual offences and has both defended and prosecuted complex and high-profile cases, including historic sexual offences and cases of grooming for the purpose of child sexual exploitation. Judith is an experienced advocate with considerable knowledge of legal procedure and practice and regularly undertakes cases of particular gravity and complexity.
