Overview
Laura accepts instructions in all children matters – representing children, parents, family members, and local authorities – including but not limited to cases involving non-accidental injury, sexual abuse, factitious illness, domestic abuse, neglect, mental health, deprivation of liberty, alienating behaviours, and internal and international relocation. She also accepts instructions in ancillary relief.
She has excellent knowledge of the law and is well-known for her consistently thorough preparation and meticulous, forensic attention to detail. With complex cases, she easily develops a clear grasp of the evidence and issues within voluminous paperwork and has been described as a particularly impressive junior by leading counsel.
