Cocaine importers sentenced to 74 years’

R v Christopher Range and Others. Darren Preston prosecuted on behalf of Revenue & Customs Prosecution Office seven defendants who were involved in a
conspiracy to import cocaine from the Caribbean. The case was factually complex and the defendants’ roles ranged from courier to UK-based organisers. The trial resulted in sentences totalling over 74 years being imposed at Manchester Crown Court on 3rd September.
