Fiona Wise and Beth Caunce delivered a webinar providing a practitioner-focused guide to Article 2 ECHR in the Coroner’s Court.

Fiona and Beth provided an update on 2 of the important recent cases in this area: Ferguson and Rizvi. The discussion focused on tailoring oral and written submissions at PIRH and at the conclusion of the evidence, including initial arguments as to Article 2 and the arguability threshold, and the position where multiple state agencies are involved.
