We are looking for a professional, welcoming, and highly organised Front of House team member to join our Manchester office.
This is an exciting opportunity to become the first point of contact for clients and visitors at a leading set of barristers with a long-standing national reputation for excellence. Based in our recently refurbished city centre premises, this role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience and enjoys working in a busy, professional environment.
The role
As part of our Front of House function, you will:
- welcome clients and visitors and ensure a professional first impression
- manage meeting rooms and hospitality arrangements
- support mediations, events, and wider marketing activity
- handle calls and provide general administrative support
- work closely with internal teams to ensure the smooth running of Chambers
About you
We’d love to hear from candidates who have:
- strong customer service and communication skills
- a polished, professional, and proactive approach
- excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- confidence using Microsoft Office and workplace technology
- previous experience in a client-facing role
Details
- Location: Manchester
- Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week
- Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
- Working pattern: Office-based, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility required

Chambers Administration Assistant

Nine Chambers are seeking to recruit for an Administration Assistant.
The primary aim of this role is to provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support to the Chambers Manager, by assisting as directed with facilities, finance and general administrative duties.
This a varied and wide-ranging role, those applying should demonstrate:
- An ability to deal with conflicting priorities and be capable of multitasking multiple administrative duties.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively both in person and electronically.
- Proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A positive attitude, showing initiative and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organisational capabilities.
Experience in a barristers’ chambers or similar legal environment is highly desirable although not essential for the right candidate.
