Robert Smith secures extended sentence for Sex Offender
Following a two week trial in August this year, prosecuted by Robert Smith, the defendant was today ordered to serve an extended sentence of 30 years imprisonment following his convictions for offences against 4 complainants. The offences spanned a period of over two decades. The trial involved the calling of multiple witnesses and the presentation of significant volumes of telephone and digital material in support of the prosecution case.
