Overview
Adam joined Chambers in February 2021 upon successful completion of his pupillage. He has developed a mixed practice consisting of criminal, tax, and regulatory work.
Criminal
Adam both prosecutes and defends and is currently a category two prosecutor on the Crown Prosecution Service’s Advocates Panel. He has experience of cases involving serious violence, firearms, the supply of illegal drugs, fraud, and serious sexual offending, both recent and historic. He is committed to giving thorough and frank advice, and prides himself on his ability to develop strong working relationships with both lay and professional clients alike.

- R v D – S. 18 assault involving traumatic brain injuries.
- R v P – Multiple rapes committed against backdrop of domestic violence and controlling behaviour.
- R v M – Historic allegations of sexual abuse involving multiple child relatives.

- Operation Vitta – Multi-handed conspiracy to supply counterfeit pharmaceutical drugs.
- R v W – Multiple rapes and assaults by penetration involving two child complainants.
- R v M – Section 18 assault involving serious head injuries caused with a machete.
- Operation Lockheed – Conspiracy to supply class A drugs involving allegations of forced labour in relation to drug users said to have been “cuckooed” by an organised crime group.
- R v T – Sexual assault of unconscious female.
- R v H – Possession of imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence during attempted robbery.
- R v R – Possession of prohibited firearm found with compatible ammunition.
- R v S – Multiple allegations of assault by penetration.
- R v B – Robbery involving use of imitation firearm.
- R v P – Fraud by funeral director who stole thousands of pounds in donations.
- R v G – Fraudulent evasion of tens of thousands of pounds in income tax by businessman who falsified accounts.
- Operation Polished – Conspiracy to supply class A drugs in excess of 1kg involving extensive cell site evidence and test purchases by undercover officers.
- R v L – Section 20 assault on new-born baby.
Tax and Duties
Adam also undertakes work in the Tax Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal. He has experience of cases involving VAT and Excise Duty fraud, breaches of the money laundering and terrorist financing regulations, cash and vehicle seizures, and refusals of registration under the Alcohol Wholesaler Registration Scheme. He is open to receiving instructions on a public access basis in appropriate cases.
Inquests
Adam has represented families and other interested parties in coronial proceedings, including those held with a jury and where article two is engaged. He also has experience of dealing with planning enforcement cases, licensing appeals, and health and safety prosecutions, and is eager to further develop his practice in these areas.

Mr White’s clerks will happily provide no obligation quotations for all legal services that he provides. Their contact details can be found here. It is most common for Mr White to undertake court work for a brief fee plus additional refresher days. Mr White accepts instructions on legal aid rates where those are available, details of which can be found here. For advisory work, including paperwork and conferences, it is most commonly charged at an hourly rate, although fixed fees are available. Mr White will typically return paperwork within 10-14 days, however professional commitments, complexity and volume of documentation can affect these approximate timescales.
Mr White also undertakes Direct Access work. This work is undertaken on a contractual basis, as agreed between the client and Mr White’s clerks. This is on fixed fee basis for a specific events such as a conference, advisory work, a hearing with additional hearing days (refreshers) or the drafting of specific documents. All work agreed to be undertaken by Mr White with the fixed fee cost will be clearly outlined in the direct access contract signed by the client and will be payable in full prior to the commencement of the work.
